DIESEL CARE Dalby is currently seeking an Diesel Motor Mechanic to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Diesel Automotive Mechanic to take on a fulfilling role at Diesel Care, with opportunities for both personal and professional development. You will be confident in forming strong working relationships with colleagues and customers and be able to hit the ground running.
The position is based in our Dalby branch with full time hours Monday to Friday. You will be employed on a 12 month contract with scope to extend.
Duties include but are not limited to
- On vehicle service and repair of a variety of diesel vehicles
- Diagnosis of diesel fuel systems
- Dynamometer operation
- Vehicle performance upgrades
- Maintaining the workplace
Qualifications:
Applicant must have one of the following:
- AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training; or
- AQF Certificate IV plus two years of post-qualification experience
- Three (3) years of relevant experience
Skills
- Keen to learn and can work in a productive team environment.
- Willing to follow directions and able to complete tasks with great attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, honest and well presented
Desirable
- Holds a current driver licence
- Forklift Ticket
