DIESEL CARE Tamworth is currently seeking a highly skilled individual to join our team. The role will be full time, Monday to Friday and will be employed on a fixed 12 month contract, with scope to extend.
Diesel Care is located in four country centres in NSW and QLD and services customers throughout Australia. Each of our centres have an array of superior quality tooling and test equipment which our highly trained and experienced diesel technicians use to keep our customers diesel engines running efficiently and effectively. We offer a range of quality products including ARB 4×4 Accessories, STEINBAUER Power Modules and our originally designed Fuel Filter & Catch Can Kits – Everything you need all in one place.
Duties include but are not limited to
- On vehicle service and repair of a variety of diesel vehicles
- Diagnosis of diesel fuel systems
- Dynamometer operation
- Vehicle performance upgrades
- Maintaining the workplace
We are looking for someone who
- is a qualified automotive mechanic or has partially completed a relevant automotive trade
- possesses a sound knowledge of automotive fitting principles and auto electrics
- is keen to learn and can work in a productive team environment.
- is willing to follow directions and able to complete tasks with great attention to detail
- is reliable, punctual, honest and well presented
- holds a current driver licence (forklift ticket would also be an advantage)
