Protect your investment with the Diesel Care Secondary Fuel Manager Fuel Filter Kit, purpose-built for the Ford Everest PY 3.0L V6. Designed to work alongside the factory fuel filter, this secondary filter provides an additional level of protection by removing harmful contaminants before they can reach your high-pressure fuel pump and injectors.
Modern common rail diesel fuel systems operate at extremely high pressures and require exceptionally clean fuel. Even tiny particles or water contamination can lead to costly damage and expensive repairs. By installing a secondary Fuel Manager filter after the factory filter, you can significantly improve fuel cleanliness and help maximise the life of your fuel injection system.
Why Install a Secondary Fuel Filter?
A secondary fuel filter acts as a final line of defence, capturing contaminants that may pass through the factory filter. The Diesel Care Fuel Manager system uses a high-efficiency 2-micron filter element, capable of removing ultra-fine particles before they reach critical engine components.
Features & Benefits:
- Additional protection for your fuel pump and injectors.
- High-efficiency 2-micron / 5-micron filtration.
- Efficient water separation and collection.
- Clear inspection bowl for easy water monitoring.
- Helps prevent costly fuel system repairs.
- Maintains engine performance and fuel efficiency.
- Complete vehicle-specific kit with quality Australian-made mounting bracket.
- DIY-friendly installation with all required fittings and hardware included.
Protect Your Common Rail Diesel Engine
Contaminated fuel is one of the leading causes of common rail diesel injector and pump failure. Installing a secondary Fuel Manager filter provides added peace of mind whether you're touring Australia, towing, working on the farm, or simply filling up from unfamiliar fuel stations.
Maintenance and Filter Replacement
To maintain optimum filtration performance, Diesel Care recommends replacing the filter element every 40,000 km, or every second factory filter change, whichever occurs first.
The clear water collection bowl should be visually inspected approximately every 5,000 km and drained if water is present. If contaminated fuel is encountered, replace the filter element immediately.
Diesel Care also manufactures a wide range of Fuel Manager fuel filter kits and ProVent catch can kits to suit many popular 4WDs, utes and diesel vehicles across Australia.
Note: This kit also suits Ford Super Duty 3.0L V6 and Ford Ranger 3.0L V6. Dedicated product pages are available for these models.
