The Replacement element in this kit for the ProVent 200 will ensure your diesel is protected. It is suitable to install in both an older standard style Provent 200 Catch Can as well as the newly designed 2020 ProVent 200 I.V. (Internally vented) version.
Please note if you have an older style ProVent housing it would have previously had the OP Valve (Over Pressurisation Valve) located within the inner lid, which sits within the Provent Cap. Now, for the ProVent 200 I.V. its been converted so that the OP valve is integrated within the replacement element base. The old housing cap can still be reused with the new element.
It's important to note that new style ProVent I.V. replacement element can be used in an old housing but an old style replacement element can not be used in a new housing. So when ordering a replacement element it is important to check the you are ordering a new, upgraded ProVent I.V. (internally vented) element.
It is recommended to replace the element in your Catch Can every 40,000km or when oil wetting appears around Provent by-pass valve.
