This Primary Fuel Filter Kit (DCP078NB) is designed for vehicles already fitted with the Diesel Care Catch Can Kit (DCC078).
The required dual-purpose mounting bracket is supplied with the catch can kit, so this fuel filter kit does not include the mounting bracket. All other components required to install the primary fuel filter are included.
If your vehicle is not already fitted with the Diesel Care Catch Can Kit, you can choose one of the following:
- DCP078 – Complete Primary Fuel Filter Kit including mounting bracket.
- DCDKP078 – Dual Kit which combines both the primary fuel filter and catch can in one complete package.

Maintenance and Filter Replacement
To maintain optimum filtration performance, Diesel Care recommends replacing the filter element every 20,000 km, or at every factory fuel filter replacement, whichever occurs first.
The clear water collection bowl should be visually inspected approximately every 5,000 km and drained if water is present. If contaminated fuel is encountered, replace the filter element immediately.
