Diesel pumps are comprised of wearing parts. Over the life of the vehicle components such as seals, governor springs and valves will degrade and stop performing as well as they should.
When pumps are brought into our workshops for servicing they’re pulled apart and assessed to determine exactly what’s needed to get them running right. Due to the specialist tools and calibration machines required, this is not a job you can do in the shed over a couple of beers.
Diesel Care check the internal fuel pressure, the maximum governed RPM, load sensing timing and idle RPM among other things. Unless you have a dust free environment with higher end equipment than the bat-cave, this one is best handled by the professionals
Diesel Care’s experienced staff are able to rebuild and recondition damaged pump components with an array of manufacturer specific tooling and test equipment such as Bosch, Denso, Delphi Stanadyne and Siemens.
