Diesel Care is looking for an experienced Spare Parts Interpreter in Tamworth to join our team in a full-time position.

Based at our Tamworth branch, this is a Monday to Friday role working 40 hours per week. The position would suit someone with automotive parts experience who enjoys customer service, working as part of a busy team and keeping day-to-day parts operations organised.

About the Spare Parts Interpreter Role

As a Spare Parts Interpreter, you will assist customers, dealerships and other Diesel Care branches with parts enquiries, order processing and stock coordination.

Your day-to-day duties will include:

  • Picking, packing and invoicing customer orders
  • Assisting customers with parts enquiries and front counter sales
  • Responding to customer and dealership enquiries by phone and in person
  • Liaising with customers, dealers and other Diesel Care branches
  • Coordinating inter-branch stock transfers and freight logistics
  • Processing supplier invoices and customer payments
  • Assisting with stocktakes
  • Completing daily banking tasks
  • Helping maintain a clean, organised and productive workplace

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Holds a qualification in spare parts interpretation or has relevant automotive industry experience
  • Has excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Is confident handling customer and dealership enquiries by phone and in person
  • Has strong computer skills
  • Is keen to learn and works well in a team environment
  • Can follow directions and complete tasks with strong attention to detail
  • Is reliable, punctual, honest and well presented
