Optional Upgrade

This ProVent Catch Can Kit (DCC078NB) is designed for vehicles already fitted with a compatible Diesel Care Fuel Manager mounting bracket.

The required dual-purpose mounting bracket is supplied with the compatible Primary Fuel Filter Kit (DCP078) or Secondary Fuel Filter Kit (DCS078), so this catch can kit does not include the mounting bracket. All other components required to install the ProVent Catch Can are included.

If your vehicle is not already fitted with a compatible Diesel Care Fuel Manager mounting bracket, you can choose one of the following:

• DCC078 – Complete ProVent Catch Can Kit including mounting bracket.
• DCDKP078 – Dual Kit including the ProVent Catch Can and Primary Fuel Filter Kit.
• DCDKS078 – Dual Kit including the ProVent Catch Can and Secondary Fuel Filter Kit.

Why Install a Catch Can kit?

Modern common rail diesel engines equipped with Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) systems are prone to carbon buildup inside the intake manifold. Oil vapours from the crankcase ventilation system combine with soot from the EGR system, forming carbon deposits that restrict airflow and reduce engine efficiency over time.

The Mann+Hummel ProVent Catch Can removes oil mist before it enters the intake system, helping to reduce carbon buildup and maintain engine performance.

Maintenance and Filter Replacement

The genuine Mann+Hummel ProVent Catch Can uses a replaceable filter element. The Provent 200 IV in this kit is designed to efficiently separate oil mist from crankcase gases.

For optimum performance:

• Drain collected oil approximately every 5,000 km, or sooner if required.
• Replace the filter element every 40,000 km, or when oil wetting becomes visible around the ProVent bypass valve.
• Regular maintenance will help your Diesel Care ProVent Catch Can continue reducing carbon buildup and protecting your Toyota Hilux engine.
